HEYWIRE
HEY DUDES
So Just spent an amazing week in canberra for heywire, made some great friends, learned some great lessons and gained a hole lot.
it was a hole lot of great to learn more about rural australia, and the struggles they go through. being someone who has mostly lived in fairly bigish cities its opened my eyes. also i never new i could get along with people so so so different from me, but they were all so great.
Meet allot of abc staff which will be great for me and networking, and made some friends in places where i'm interested in like head space, i talked abiut my struggles with mental health a lot which i think is helping me and other become a lot more open. telling my story helps me realise how far i have come and others that there not alone and can get to a better place.
the heywire team was so supportive and great and you could see how much effort they put in to making sure we got everything out of it and for that i am greaful.
I'm excited to take mort ( the mascot cow ) with me everywhere, taking photos, im going to gold coast soon so ill take him with me
